If you’re sick and tired of the gaudy tchotchke fall decor, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m going to share my elevated neutral fall decor, so you can say goodbye to the glittery signs in obnoxious bubbly cursive that say “Oh my gourd” or “Happy Fall, Y’all.” If you’re not mentally prepared for fall yet, I totally get that. Just bookmark this page for when the temps aren’t boiling lava hot, and it’s finally socially appropriate to have a pumpkin spice latte.
I chose lots of warm, neutral pieces with fall-inspired undertones (i.e. spicy rusts and mocha browns to reflect the changing leaves outside). These colors, along with the soft, wispy textures I chose, add warmth and coziness which is essential when the temperatures are dropping outside. They make you want to stay inside, cozy up in a blanket, and watch Harry Potter while sipping on hot chocolate. Or is that just me?
Let’s jump into it.
(1) White and gold mini decorative pumpkins. Classic Amazon Prime find right around $20. I like the small size, so you can easily sprinkle these about your house. Amazon also has a 12-pack of all white decorative pumpkins for under $15 if that’s more your speed.
(2) Cream ceramic pumpkin. A good target find for only $5.
(3) Glass pumpkin candy jar. Make sure to read the reviews first to get a better size reference because this big boy is 70 ounces. This would make a perfect candy jar. It would be cute to hold decorative match boxes as well. Under $30 on Amazon Prime.
(4) Black decorative pumpkin. $5 Target find. I love the bold black color.
(5) Dried wheat wreath. Gorgeous 18″ wreath for your front door!
(6) Rust faux pampas grass branch set. Pampas grass is *very* in right now, and this rust color is stunning. I’ll save this story for another time, but I went to great great GREAT lengths to “naturally” acquire some pampas grass for myself – just ask my sisters. It did not end well. Do yourself a favor and just buy some faux pampas branches. This set comes in a bundle of three.
(7) White dried bunny tail bundle. I love the soft, feather-like texture of this dried grass. It would be a great addition to a dried floral arrangement or even by itself in a cool, sculptural vase. This company has lots of other dried floral bunches to choose from – give their site a browse.
(8) Ribbed glass amber vase. Great Target find for $20. I love the deep amber color and ribbed detail. They have a shorter vase option as well for $15.
(9) Faux eucalyptus branch. Silver Dollar Eucalyptus works well year round, but I especially love it for fall. Hot tip: do yourself a favor and buy fresh eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s instead. It’s affordable and stays fresh for a long time.
(10) Large black ceramic vase. GORGEOUS vase that will work in your home year round.
(11) Large textured artisan vase. I can’t decide what I love more…the warm taupe color or the gorgeous textured lines.
(12) Bleached white mountain fern bundle. Another great dried plant bundle that has spectacular movement. Just add it to a ceramic vase and you have the perfect table centerpiece.
(13) Rustic large brown vase. Great Studio McGee Target find for $25. I love the rusty brown hue.
(14) Autumn Hayride scented candle. Great fall scent and even better packaging.
(15) Pumpkin Picking scented candle. Everyone loves a boujee candle.
(16) Mocha boucle decorative pillow. The boucle texture combined with the spicy brown color makes this pillow a home run. In fact, this pillow is so good I’ve featured it on my blog twice already. Read my post about which boucle pieces are worth your money.
(17) Round natural basket. Great storage basket for your blankets. $20.
(18) Open weave basket. Another great $20 Target find. I love the woven pattern.
And there you have it! What’s your favorite find? Share your thoughts below.
