Alas, The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is upon us. If you don’t live under a rock, then I’m sure you already know this. If you’re a normal person like me who refuses to open up a Nordstrom credit card, then you don’t have access to the sale until it goes public on July 28th. Here is the timeframe for those wondering:

  • July 12: Early Access for cardmembers with Icon status (aka you spend a sh*t ton of money at Nordstrom)
  • July 14: Early Access for cardmembers with Ambassador status (aka you also spent a sh*t ton of money at Nordstrom but slightly less)
  • July 16: Early Access for cardmembers with Influencer status (any cardmember automatically starts at Influencer status)
  • July 28: Anniversary Sale opens to the general public (aka the rest of us).

It is beneficial to have a Nordstrom card considering a lot of the great deals are already sold out by the time July 28th rolls around, but my financial advisor would never allow that ๐Ÿ˜‰ If you’re blessed enough to have lots of money to spend at Nordstrom and already have access to the sale, then definitely check out my home decor, kitchen, and bath guides. I also created a guide with my wish list items (i.e. never-before-seen non-home-decor content). I know the sale can be overwhelming when there’s thousands of items to comb through. Don’t feel like you need to buy everything because, honestly, not every deal is worth your money. Invest in quality items that you envision yourself using for years to come. Stock up on wardrobe staples and luxury items that rarely go on sale. Alright, enough blabbering. My curated picks below.

(1) Palm Springs Framed Art Print. I’m not usually one for color, but the aesthetic of Palm Springs is an exception. This print is the perfect amount of boujee and is sure to make a statement. I would buy the 24×36 and make this the focal point of the room I’m designing.

(2) Irony in West Texas Framed Art Print by photographer Catherine McDonald. If you look closely, you can see there is a Prada boutique quietly acquainted in the middle of nowhere in rural Texas. The irony provides some comical relief and is sure to stand out in your space. This reminds me a lot of my favorite piece of art I own, the Smoking Nuns print my sisters bought me for my birthday.

(3) Organic Maze Framed Wall Art. Or as I like to call it, squiggly art print. Subtle and neutral.

(4) Black and white abstract art print. I’m usually not a fan of store-bought abstract prints, but I’m digging this one.

(5) Cream plush throw. Super cozy blanket under $25. A staple for everyone.

(6) Lilac plush throw. Same blanket, different (gorgeous) color.

(7) Faux fur throw blanket. I love the subtle snow leopard pattern.

(8) Boucle decorative pillow. Boucle can sometimes look cheap, but this looks so luxe at a good price point.

(9) Diptyque candle set. Diptyques hardly ever go on sale, so the NSale is a great time to try them out if you’re interested! They’re stupid expensive, but they instantly elevate your space to make it feel more luxurious. They make a great gift too! This is when I stock up. FYI, these are the travel size (only 1.23oz each so quite small).

(10) Boy Smells Moody Woods candle set. If you’re a fan of masculine, musky scents then this is right up your alley. If you prefer floral scents, Boy Smells also has their Late Bloomer candle set as part of the sale. These candles are at a better price point than the Diptyque set and still give you that luxe, boujee feel.

(11) Le Labo Santal 26 concrete candle set. Le Labo certainly takes the cake for the bougiest candle. These aren’t cheap but the handcrafted concrete vessel packaging is stunning and will make you feel like you’re living in luxury. Santal 26 is their signature scent and perfect for those who like woodsy scents. If you really like your friends/family, you could buy the set to give the candles out as gifts ๐Ÿ˜‰

(12) The famous Barefoot Dreams leopard blanket. I’m certainly not the first and I won’t be the last person to tell you about this beautiful, crazy soft, overpriced blanket. They’re everywhere. If you’ve been wanting to pull the trigger, the NSale is the perfect opportunity to save big.

(13) Barefoot Dreams Digital Patina blanket. Love the print on this one.

(14) Jo Malone candle set. I couldn’t conclude my home decor Nsale guide without some Jo Malone! Another great boujee candle option. I know anyone would die if they received this as a gift.

I wasn’t WOW’d by Nordstrom’s bath selections this year, but here are my favorite goodies I came across.

(1) Striped Turkish cotton towel. Everyone I’ve spoken to who uses Turkish towels is obsessed with them. They’re lightweight and absorb crazy fast. I love the stripe detail.

(2) Cloud print cotton washcloth. Aka the prettiest washcloth I’ve ever seen. I would be honored to wash my face with this lol.

(3) Floral shower curtain. This has the prettiest subtle floral texture to it. Under $30.

(4) Jumbo Le Labo hand soap. Yes, Le Labo makes fancy hand soap too. If you’re looking for ways to spruce up your sad rental bathroom, expensive soap in pretty packaging helps ๐Ÿ˜‰

(5) Waffle knit bath towel. I don’t know about you, but I hate soft, cushy towels. I prefer rougher towels that actually absorb water and not just spread it around. If that’s you too, these towels are a good option with great reviews.

(6) Tan and black woven bath rug. A gorgeous neutral rug for your bathroom. Sadly, the black and tan is already sold out, but I’m hoping they restock.

(7) Jo Malone jumbo hand soap. Another overpriced, classy hand soap to dress up your bathroom counter.

(8) Hand woven geometric bath rug. Love the pattern and ivory/gray color scheme! Under $40.

Up next: my favorite kitchen items!

(1) White marble lazy Susan. Aka the perfect serving tray to use for your next charcuterie board. It swivels which makes it super convenient for entertaining!

(2) Black marble lazy Susan. So good I linked it twice ๐Ÿ˜‰

(3) Set of 6 whiskey glasses. A great set of whiskey glasses for right under $40 (originally $60). I love the simplicity.

(4) Marble and wood circular serving board. It also comes in a gorgeous white marble option. The tie allows you to hang it on your kitchen walls as decor when you’re not using it.

(5) White marble and wood serving paddle. Once again, a great option for your next charcuterie board (anyone else have to use spellcheck on that word every single time?)

(6) Black marble and wood serving paddle. Same board, different colorway. Great price point under $25.

(7) Gold cheese knife set. I know I won’t shut up about cheese boards, but these would be perfect for the next time you entertain! The gold may be sold out, but the silver knives are gorgeous as well.

(8) Latte cup set. Perfect for the espresso lover!

(9) White marble coaster set. These look a lot like the marble coasters I have in my house, but better. I love the texture on these. Under $20 for the set of 4.

(10) Stagg Electric Kettle. Perfect for coffee and tea lovers alike! Currently a great deal at $50 off. It comes in a pretty stone blue color as well.

(11) Black marble coaster set. I love the black and gray colorway on these. Currently $10 off for the set making them under $20.

(12) Sugarfina three piece candy box. Yes, far too expensive to buy for yourself, but this would make a great hostess gift! Who doesn’t love fancy candy?

Last but not least, I thought it would be fun to share my Anniversary sale wish list. Don’t be fooled. I most definitely won’t be buying all of this. I will probably only buy a couple items (if anything is still in stock on July 28th…). I almost exclusively share home content (which I will continue to do) but thought it would be nice to change things up. Here are my favorite fashion and skincare picks from the sale.

(1) Plaid collar wool blend coat. Everything about this coat is fantastic (the colors, the oversized collar, the houndstooth, the buttons). It’s on sale for under $150. Original price $279. Sadly, sizes are going fast. I hope they restock.

(2) Def Leppard graphic tee. Love rock tees.

(3) Suede moto jacket. Nordstrom brings back this jacket in their Anniversary Sale almost every single season, and I can see why. It’s gorgeous and a great fall staple. It’s on sale for under $100. Original price $188.

(4) Carmel shacket. I haven’t been the biggest fan of the shacket trend, but I can get behind this one. The neutral would go with so many things in my wardrobe. There’s a pretty baby blue color if that’s more your speed. Sale price is under $35.

(5) Queen graphic tee. I’m a huge Queen fan and love the vintage look of this tee. I will definitely be putting this in my cart on July 28th if it’s still available.

(6) Mother high waist ankle flare black jeans. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of (subtle) flare jeans, and I’m glad to say my hunt is over. I personally find ankle length pants to be more flattering on me and high waisted was a must. Check and check. These are down from $218 to $145.90 – still a splurge but designer denim rarely goes on sale, so this is a great time to invest if you’re in the market.

(7) Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask. I’m a big Kiehl’s fan and have been wanting to try this product for a while now. I heard a Tik Tok influencer say this gives her the deepest clean and gets all the “gunk” out of her pores. I’m sold.

(8) Jumbo Elemis cleansing balm. This is another skincare product I’ve been wanting to try for a long time. I’ve heard raving reviews. It’s a total splurge so it only makes sense to buy while on sale.

(9) neuBROW brow enhancing serum set. I bought neuLASH eyelash enhancing serum last year during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I’m a big fan. Now it’s time to thicken up those brows.

(10) AllSaints black suede platform sandal. Alright, technically these strappy sandals aren’t part of the Anniversary Sale, but they are 40% off right now which might be even better. I love the edgy feel. I’m sure these will make me feel more badass then I actually am, and I’m here for it.

(11) Ivory combat platform booties. I love the ivory color and platform heel. I’m not a fan of the white boot trend, but this creamy ivory color is a good alternative. On sale for under $70. Original price $120.

(12) Celine cat eye sunglasses. These are a total splurge but now is a fantastic time to invest in Celines if you’re in the market. They hardly ever go on sale, and right now they’re marked down from $360 to $240. I have a feeling these won’t be in stock come July 28th.

(13) Saint Laurent square Havana sunglasses. I love the shape and Havana finish on these. Another splurge but a great time to buy while they’re discounted.

(14) Boucle decorative pillow. I featured this in my NSale Home Decor roundup as well. If it comes back in stock, I will definitely have this in my cart.

(15) Gold faux diamond bangle. I love the delicate look of this bracelet, and the reviews say it looks more expensive than it is! It comes in a silver finish as well.

(16) Le Labo Santal 26 concrete candle set. Yet another repeat from my NSale Home Decor roundup. I’m very tempted to splurge on these this year. I’m trying to justify it by saying I can reuse the concrete jar ๐Ÿ˜‰

(17) Tory Burch embossed black leather slides. I love the ease of slides and these look more elevated than your average pair, which means more versatility! I can’t decide between these and the Freda Salvador Lea sport slide.

(18) Irony in West Texas Framed Art Print. I talked more about this in my home decor feature. I would love to bring this into my home! It’s my favorite piece of art in the sale.

(19) Barefoot Dreams Digital Patina blanket. I haven’t brought myself to bite the bullet on a Barefoot Dreams blanket yet. If I did, I’d buy this one.

And there ya have it! There’s my roundup of my favorite items in the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. If you’re shopping the sale, good luck out there lol. Remember to only invest in items you can’t live without. There’s no need to go broke over this. Happy shopping!
