Looking for ways to instantly elevate your drab rental kitchen? Or maybe you’re blessed and looking for ways to put the finishing touches on your newly renovated kitchen dripping with chrome fixtures and calacatta gold marble countertops. Ask and you shall receive. We all know the chokehold Crate&Barrel has on me, so a lot of these beauties are sourced from there, but we also have some affordable Amazon and Target gems sprinkled throughout.
The black steel paper towel holder and glass amber soap dispensers are both Amazon finds under $20. The wooden cooking utensils are an Amazon score as well. The white handle is simple, yet elevated.
The marble paper towel holder I own and love. The white pedestal bowl is a close match to one I bought at Target a couple years ago. It’s a gorgeous, yet practical way to store fruits and veggies on your countertop. Read my small, yet mighty kitchen tour blog post to see how I styled mine in our kitchen.
The circular black marble serving board is under $30 and nearly identical to the board I own and love. I personally use mine to serve as a cheese board, a base for dining room table centerpieces, and even a hot plate in the kitchen. Read my dining room table decor blog post to get inspiration.
Naturally, cookbooks have a rightful place in the kitchen as well, but not all cookbooks have a rightful place on your countertops. Yes, of course you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but we all know that’s bullshit and we do it anyway. Judge away if you plan on putting this book on display. Sure, that celebrity chef’s cookbook has your favorite spinach-kale-celery-beet-cucumber no good green juice recipe, but maybe it stays tucked away in a cabinet if it means you don’t have to be subjected to its obnoxious neon cover right as you come home. Matty Matheson: A Cookbook and Pasta: The Spirit and Craft of Italy’s Greatest Food with Recipes pass my display-worthy test. I deem them aesthetically pleasing enough to collect dust on your countertops for months on end while you order takeout for the third time this week 😉
That’s my short and sweet, non-exhaustive list! Hopefully this inspired you to bring one of these products, or something similar, into your own home because kitchens can and should be beautifully styled too!
