Happy belated Fourth of July, everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday celebrating with loved ones and eating lots of yummy food. With lots of holiday weekend sales still going strong, this is a great time to shop if you’ve had your eye on something. I designed two outdoor spaces to inspire your next patio barbecue or poolside escape.
First up, we have this lovely summer patio setup. I’ll link all the products below.
Black and white scalloped patio umbrella from Target. It has the cutest spotted pattern and fringe detail.
Three piece patio set from Target. This set is currently 10% off until the end of today, and it comes with two chairs and a side table. The black and cognac wicker material is woven into a beautiful geometric pattern that I just love.
Striped charcoal and ivory outdoor area rug from Wayfair. I think this rug is very reasonably priced at under $150 for the 8′ x 11’4″ size.
Cylindrical gray metal outdoor end table from Crate&Barrel. Number one, I am obsessed with the modern shape and luxe high-gloss finish of this table. Number two, I am more impressed with the price! It’s currently on sale for $80 off, making it just under $100. Be sure to snag this quickly before their 4th of July clearance event ends tonight. The iced tea perched on top of the end table was one of the cocktail glasses I featured in my blog post last week all about the best glassware to invest in for your bar cart.
Large citronella cement candle from Target. When I say this candle is large, I’m not joking. It’s 63.5 ounces and is sure to keep the mosquitoes away all summer long! It comes in the most gorgeous concrete bowl that I’m excited to reuse for a table centerpiece once I’m done burning it.
Multicolor leopard outdoor pillow from CB2. I love everything about this pillow (i.e. the colors, the texture, the subtle leopard print, and the quality). It’s a great time to buy while it’s 30% off for CB2’s holiday weekend sale. Hurry because it ends tonight.
Cat palm plant. I think it goes without saying that every outdoor patio needs some greenery. I love plants with large foliage and this palm plant is no exception. I linked the exact species for you, so you can keep your eyes peeled during your next Lowe’s trip. There’s the option to buy online and have it delivered, but I’d advise against that. So many things can go wrong in transit, and plants don’t adjust well to location and temperature changes. Also be sure to check out your local plant nursery because they tend to have beautiful, more obscure plants to choose from.
Once you’ve secured your greenery, you’ll need to repot it in a ceramic planter. CB2 has a white terracotta planter with the most gorgeous hobnail texture to it. If you’re looking for a more budget friendly option, I suggest simply hiding the existing black plastic container in a decorative basket. Target sells a decorative woven basket under $20 (pictured above). Homegoods has lots of affordable options as well. This is my favorite trick to make my plants look good without spending a fortune on expensive ceramic planters.

Three piece outdoor lounge chaise set. Believe it or not, these two pool lounge chairs and matching side table are from Lowe’s! I love the gray and white striped cushions, and it’s priced reasonably with good customer reviews.
Tall speckled white terracotta planters. These planters immediately stopped me in my scroll and almost enticed me to add to my cart despite having absolutely no need for more planters. The tapered shape adds a modern feel and would instantly elevate anyone’s outdoor patio space or front door entryway. They’re an investment, but it’s a great time to buy during CB2’s 30% off sale. Don’t drag your feet if you’re interested because the sale ends tonight!
Red cordyline outdoor plants. Again, don’t buy your plants online, but I’ve linked the exact species sold at Lowe’s in case you’re interested. I love the cordyline’s spiky foliage and deep pink hue. It adds a nice pop of color to this neutral oasis.
Neutral geometric outdoor rug from Target. The neutral colorway virtually guarantees this rug will complement anyone’s outdoor space.
White fringe patio umbrella from Target. This umbrella exudes simple elegance with the fringe detail adding a nice playful touch. More importantly, it’s protecting your beautiful, youthful skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Be sure to lather on the sunscreen too 😉 My favorite facial sunscreen is Elta MD tinted sunscreen. I use it every single day and love the touch of color it gives me. Extra bonus: it ships free on Amazon Prime!
Margarita glasses from Target. Last but certainly not least, you’ll need a stiff cocktail to thoroughly enjoy your day off lounging by the pool.
